The bags are made of special medical paper and meet the requirements for medical packaging materials in accordance with GOST R ISO 11607 - 2003 'Packaging for the final sterilization of medical devices' and the European CEN standard EN 868.

Medtest, for sterilization, are disposable kraft bags that are used during the sterilization of instruments in autoclaves and dry-heat cabinets, as well as during gas (ethylene oxide) sterilization. They create a barrier between the environment and instruments, thereby maintaining their guaranteed sterility for 60 days. They are made of special durable and environmentally friendly paper.
Kraft bags have a special indicator that changes color and signals a successful sterilization procedure. When sterilized in a dry oven, the color of the indicator changes from pink to brown. And when steam sterilized in an autoclave, the color will change from pink to gray.

How to use:< br>
Put the instrument that has been disinfected and pre-sterilized cleaned in a dry, clean bag and sealed. On the package we write the contents of the package (even if one side is transparent), the date and time of sterilization, the signature of the person who carried out the processing and the bookmark in the package. We carry out sterilization in an autoclave or a dry-heat cabinet.
If external indicators (laid inside the device) showed that the sterilizer worked correctly, look at the color of the indicator on the package. After air processing, the color will change to the one specified in the reference, for example, after steaming, beige will turn purple.
Internal indicators must be included in packages without a built-in indicator, they can be bought separately. We talked about how to use indicators correctly earlier.
Several instruments can be sterilized in one package, but it should not be overfilled. Sets (manicure, pedicure) are often laid and sterilized immediately.
The shelf life of the instrument in the package after sterilization is determined by their manufacturer and indicated in the instructions.
If, after examining the package with sterile contents, there are no comments arose, then it is opened while observing asepsis and the contents are laid out on the work surface and used.
The kraft bag for sterilization is used once, and then disposed of with household waste. The bags are made of natural materials, so they decompose well and do not pollute the environment.
The tool can be sterilized without a kraft bag, but in this case you must use it within an hour. Or store it in an ultraviolet cabinet
Rules for using craft bags
- Inspect the bag carefully before use. Damaged packaging must not be used.
- Check the date of manufacture of the package and the expiration date. Expired bags must not be used.
- Check if the sterilization indicator is present and matches the color indicated in the instructions.
- Write on the bag the contents (even if one side is transparent), the date and time of sterilization and Signature of the person who carried out the processing and insertion into the package. If there are no special columns for records on the package, this information can be written by hand on the seam of the package.
- Sterilization of materials is carried out according to the established regime, according to the type of sterilizer selected.
- Packages with sterile instruments are stored without unpacking, in dry and clean cabinets, avoiding dust, moisture and sunlight. Certain conditions must be observed in the room: temperature +10 ... +30 ?С and humidity not more than 50%. If moisture gets on the kraft bag, it is considered unusable even after drying.
- The shelf life of the sterilized material should not exceed the life of the bag itself.
